The Sugarcreek Rotary Club announces new Incoming President Kevin North for 2019-2020 Term
The Sugarcreek Rotary Club is happy to announce our newest member, Kevin North, has taken the reign of Incoming President for the upcoming 2019 - 2020 term.
"Kevin will be an outstanding President and leader for our club. His leadership and desire to serve others will enable our club to see growth in membership and find new innovative ways for our community projects" states Wanda Angel, Past President (3 terms) of the Sugarcreek Club.
Kevin North Biography
Kevin was born and raised in Western New York where he attended school and further education at SUNY Fredonia and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, he married Kayla (Klaiber) North in the summer of 2010 and moved to his bride's hometown of Sugarcreek, Ohio.
He is always willing to learn and grow as a person and share his new skills with those around him. After completing a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University, Kevin joined the Sugarcreek Rotary Club in January 2018 and became acting Club Treasurer in February 2018. His willingness to step into the Treasurer position to help out when a member was ill is the example Kevin exemplifies every day - "Service Above Self."
Other volunteer work includes Big Brothers Big Sisters where he awaits a match with his new "little" in the near future. When not working or volunteering Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, CrossFit, walking his English Bulldog, and reading.
