Club News
The Sugarcreek Rotary Club will be moving to a new home August 3rd!
We had our final meeting at Dutch Valley Restaurant and we had a group photo taken. A big thanks to all who came to support the club.
We will continue to work on getting meals catered for our club meeting and speakers/events.
If anyone can offer suggestions on catering for the club meals, please do so. I will reach out to Benson's catering and Bags Restaurant today.
No response from Park Street
Dutch Valley no longer does catering
Next Tuesday, August 3rd is our first guest speaker, Perci Garner from The Rainbow Connection.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY EVERY MONDAY AT 9AM IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING OUR TUESDAY CLUB MEETING. IT IS IMPORTANT NOW MORE THAN EVER TO LET US KNOW YOU WILL BE ATTENDING AS WE WILL HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT FOR CATERING SERVICES.

Upcoming Pancake Meal/Health Screen Fundraiser
Susan reported to the club that she was able to secure Joel Pomerone Hospital as the health screening agent for us.
Joel Pomerene Hospital will have their mobile unit alongside the baseball fence area during the pancake fundraiser. The health screening will be handled directly with JPMH and it will be considered a community service and not a fundraiser. Mercy medical was unable to work with us this year on a health screen fundraiser.
The club voted to approve we do this community service because it will draw more people into the community center for pancakes. We will not give out "free pancake meal" this year for the health screens.
We will have the time of the pancake event from 7am - 6pm. We are taking away 1 hour from this event to give us more time to clean up and get home to our families after a long day.
Sign up sheets will be sent out this week for volunteer spots.
Stephanie is working on art files that we will finalize on Tuesday, August 3rd so that they can get printed into the Budget, flyers, and tickets.
